A Japanese company is developing the world’s first “wearable tomato,” a device that allows athletes to easily consume the lycopene-rich fruit while working out.

“We are still at the developing stages, but the finalized product won’t be something simple which you could wear on the hands. It’s probably going to look more like a backpack,” a spokesman at the company told Japan Real Time.

We are focused on helping runners eat an entire tomato with ease while running,” he explained.

The wearable tomato will be unveiled on Feb. 19 during an event related to the Tokyo Marathon.
