Watching paint dry suitable for 4 year olds

Paint drying is a suitable image for viewers aged 4 and over according to the British Board of Film Classification.

They came to the conclusion after reviewing Paint Drying, a 10 hour documentary of a single shot of white paint drying on a wall.

The crowd funded film is an act of protest against the UK’s film censors, who require film makers to pay a hefty sum to have their films reviewed.

The idea came to film maker Charlie Lyne because reviewers are required to sit through the entire film before rating it.

He has since admitted that even he hasn’t even watched the film in its entirety.
