French pharmaceutical company Sanofi has come under fire this week over a welcome bonus for its new CEO. Oliver Brandicourt will collect a €2 million signing up bonus. He’s eligible for up to €2 million more in January 2016 (assuming he is still in the job) and up to €4.2 million for performance related bonus. That’s on top of his €1.2 million base salary and shares and options. That big fat cheque equates to around $5.8 million Australian dollars.
