Impending asthma attacks can be predicted by technology that monitors the timing of inhaler use, according to respiratory physician Dr Sanjay Ramakrishnan of the Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, Perth. Speaking at the TSANZ 2024 annual meeting, he says respiratory medicine can learn from areas such as diabetes where sensor devices require little additional input from patients.
