The spread of COVID-19 and its rapid transition into a global pandemic has led researchers to search for treatments and vaccines in earnest – but the rush to publish more data quickly comes at a price that could have implications for clinicians and patients, says medical ethicist Adjunct Professor Katrina Bramstedt from Bond University in Queensland and Secretary General at Luxembourg Agency for Research Integrity (LARI).
