Get an ORCID says NHMRC

Research

14 Apr 2015

The National Health and Medical Research Council and Australian Research Council have called on all researchers applying for funding to have an ORCID identifier.

In a joint statement issued today the funding bodies are encouraging the use of an ORCID researcher identifier because it will help identify researchers and their research outputs as well as enable the linking and reuse of high quality, persistent data (e.g. publications, grants).

ORCID is an international, interdisciplinary not-for-profit registry of persistent unique identifiers for researchers and scholars.
