The main cartoon characters in kids programs are more than twice as likely to die as counterparts in films for adults. Rather than being the innocuous form of entertainment they are assumed to be, children’s animated films are rife with on-screen death and murder the Canadian and UK scientists say in their paper published in the BMJ.
