The Lancet will publish a special issue focusing on rheumatoid and autoimmune diseases to coincide with  the American College of Rheumatology Annual Meeting in Washington, DC, USA, on Nov 11–16, 2016.

They are inviting  original research papers that “reflect the rich variety of ongoing research in rheumatology, autoimmunity, and clinical immunology. “

Priority will be given to randomised trials that strengthen the evidence base in disease treatment, but any studies that have the potential to change or challenge clinical and public health practices are welcome.

The deadline for submissions is May 25, 2016 and can be submitted through the journal’s online submission system.
