Gout attacks a nightmare

Gout attacks more likely at night. People are twice as likely to have an attack at night or in the early hours of the morning than at daytime. This risk persisted even in people who had no alcohol and low purine intake 24 hours prior to the attack the Harvard study of 724 gout patients found.
