Ever wondered what your patient is REALLY thinking?  Well you may be about to find out as the BMJ has just launched a new series called ‘What your patient is thinking’.

Patients or carers who interact with the health system will offer practical advice to doctors on how they could consider doing things differently. The intention is to provoke doctors to “think hard” about how they interact with their patients.

The first article in the series “Why There’s No Point Telling Me to Lose Weight” challenges the doctor’s role and “may make some readers uncomfortable” warns the BMJ.
