MOGA gets snappy for 40th anniversary

2 May 2019

A photo competition to find “the beautiful and inspiring” in medical oncology has been launched by the Medical Oncology Group of Australia (MOGA) as part of its 40th anniversary celebrations.

The MOGA@40 Photo Competition is looking for entries that reflect “the diversity and insight that make Medical Oncology a unique blend of science and art,” the organisation says.

There are no restrictions on subject matter and entrants can submit up to three photos representing “different aspects of medical oncology from your own personal view” with a title and brief description.

All entries will be displayed during the group’s annual scientific meeting in Canberra in mid-August and, in a different take on peer review, will be judged by the delegates themselves.

Winners will be announced and presented with prizes during the gala dinner on Friday 16 August.

Jpeg entries can be entered via email [email protected] or by tagging @MOGA_ORG on Twitter and will will be posted on the MOGA and MOGA ASM websites. Applications close on 9 August 2019.
