Three endocrinologists have received Australia Day honours.

Prof Ebeling was appointed an Officer in the General Division of the Order of Australia for distinguished service to medicine in the field of bone health.

Prof Fuller, also awarded a General Division of the Order of Australia was singled out for his service to medicine as an endocrinologist, as well as his contributions to medical research and professional organisations.

Prof Funder was appointed a Companion in the General Division of the Order of Australia for his service to medicine, including cardiovascular endocrinology, obesity and mental illness.
