A skin cancer clinic doctor in Queensland accused of supplying drugs to bikie gangs has been granted bail in the Brisbane Magistrates Court.

Detectives from the Organised Crime Gangs Group arrested Dr John Robert Ullman as part of a drug trafficking investigation into steroids and other drugs being supplied to Outlaw Motorcycle Gang members.

According to the ABC, Dr Ullman was charged with 162 counts of supplying dangerous drugs, three counts of trafficking dangerous drugs, and one count of possessing property suspected of being proceeds of an offence.

Dr Ullman was until recently listed as skin cancer physician working at Molescan Chermside.

In a statement, Queensland Police said after a series of raids on multiple premises including two medical practices, they seized items including steroids, prescription drugs identified as benzodiazepines and a large sum of cash.

“We will be alleging that these drugs were supplied to gang members by a medical practitioner who knew they were going to be on sold within the community for profit,” said Detective Inspector Larissa Miller of the Organised Crime Gangs Group.

“The Organised Crime Gangs group continues to target OMCG members and those who facilitate their offending, including people who hold professional positions of trust within our community,” Detective Inspector Miller said.
