Children of RA mothers more likely to be premie

Children born to mothers with RA are more likely to be born prematurely. Babies were almost one and half times more likely to be born pre-term compared to babies born to mothers without RA. However the reduction in fetal growth is small and unlikely to have any impact on the wellbeing of the child, the authors of the Danish nationwide cohort study said.
